22 days Uganda and Rwanda

Day 1

Arrive at Entebbe airport our guide who will be there waiting for you. Pick up and proceed to Kampala city. Sleep at Cassia lodge or fairway hotel.

Day 2

After braekfast,go to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls.You can have an optional visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Sleep at Parra safari lodge or Red Chilli.

Day 3

Early game drive and afternoon boat ride on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls. Sleep at Parra safari lodge or Red Chilli.

Day 4

Early morning game drive,and in the afternoon we drive to Hoima town. It is also possible to make a boat trip on the Nile to the delta into Lake Albert in the morning. Sleep at Kontiki hotel.

Day 5

After breakfast we drive to Kibale Forest. You can make an optional forest walk in the afternoon. Sleep at Kibale forest camp,Chimps nest or Primate lodge.

Day 6

Chimpanzee tracking in the morning and afternoon visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a primate and bird watching walk (optional). Sleep at Kibale forest camp,Chimps nest or Primate lodge.

Day 7

Visit one of the crater lakes. Afterwards transfer to Semuliki National Park with chances of seeing the Rwenzori mountains. Visit the Sempaya Hot Springs in the afternoon. Sleep at Rwenzori view guest house or Mountains of the moon.

Day 8

Transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Game drive in the afternoon. Sleep at Mweya safari lodge,Bush lodge or Mweya hostel.

Day 9

Game drive in the morning, boat trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. Sleep at Mweya safari lodge,Bush lodge or Mweya hostel.

Day 10

Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge in the morning. Game drive in the afternoon.Other possible activities include: make a nature walk in Maramagambo Forest or visit Lake Katwe. Sleep at Mweya safari lodge,Bush lodge or Mweya hostel.

Day 11

After breakfast we drive to the sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park where there are tree climbing lions. Game drive in the afternoon in search of the tree climbing lions. Sleep at Ishasha wilderness or Savannah resort.

Day 12

Game drive in the morning to search for the tree-climbing lions. Then after,continue to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Overnight accommodation will depend on the group of Gorillas you will be tracking.

Day 13

This is a Gorilla visiting day where you will be able to see our closetst relative in the natural habitat. Overnight accommodation will depend on the group of Gorillas you will be tracking

Day 14

Day for relaxation.You can however do some optional activities like making a nature walk through the national park, go for a primate or bird watching walk, or visit the local people.A second Gorilla tracking is also possible!! Overnight accommodation will depend on the group of Gorillas you will be tracking.

Day 15

Transfer to the deepest and most beautiful lake in Uganda(Lake Bunyonyi).Relax,or do optional activities like; make a nature walk, go for birding, go for canoeing, take a swim or visit the local communities . Sleep at Habuharo Island,Birdnest or Bunyonyi overland resort.

Day 16

Today you can relax or do one of the activities (one activity included): make a nature walk, go for a birding walk, go for canoeing or canoe trekking, take a swim or visit the local community. Sleep at Habuharo Island,Birdnest or Bunyonyi overland resort.

Day 17

Transfer to the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. It is possible to visit a pygmy village on the way. Sleep at Le Bambo lodge or Muhabura hotel

Day 18

Choose one of the activities (one activity included): Visit the golden monkeys or make a nature walk in the national park, climb a volcano or visit Dian Fossey's Grave. It is also possible to visit the Twin Lakes, Lake Ruhondo and Lake Burera, or to make a second gorilla tracking. Sleep at Le Bambo lodge or Muhabura hotel

Day 19

After breakfast we drive to Gisenyi on Lake Kivu for a relaxed day on the beautiful shores. Overnighjt at Lake Kivu Serena hotel or at Ubumwe hotel.

Day 20

After breakfast we drive to Nyungwe Forest for an overnight. Overnight at Nyungwe forest lodge or Gisakura guest house.

Day 21

Make a walk through the forest in search of chimpanzees, monkeys and birds, or take the waterfall trail. It is possible to visit a tea factory in the afternoon. Nyungwe is one of East Africa's largest forests. It is home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees. Overnight at Nyungwe forest lodge, or Gisakura guest house.

Day 22

After breakfast drive to Kigali for your flight.
