Car Hire

 JKihembe Safaris can quote rates both in Ugandan Shillings and the United states Dollars. Our quoted rates shall be on 24 hours basis and we take care of oil and maintenance, however, the renter shall fuel the car during the rental. We charge basing on low class rated cars, middle class rated cars and luxury class rated cars regardless the mileage covered for each car as illustrated bellow;

- Low Class Rated Cars.
- Less than one week, USD.180 per day
- One week and more, USD.150 per day
- Middle Class Rated Cars.
- Less than one week, USD. 260 per day
- One week and more, USD. 230 per day
- Luxury Class Rated Cars
- Less than one week, USD. 340 per day
- One week and more, USD. 300 per day

NB: A discount is also offered after confirming your booking

Reservations will only be confirmed for car groups, not for specific type of car or model years. Exceptions can be made for wedding reservations

The inset rates are based on a 24 hour rental period, extra hours will be charged at USD. 20 for each hour.

Insurance

Third Party Insurance and property damages as well as legal liability cover for passengers are included in the rates in accordance to the law of the Republic of Uganda. Loss of tyres, mirrors, Wheel Caps, Antenna's, light lenses, door handles and tools not covered by insurance.

Liability of the Renter

In case of damages to or loss of the rented car or parts of it, also in case of fire, breakage of glass, theft, and the renter shall be responsible for repairs up to the prescribed amount.

Payment Terms

Payment can be made either through JKihembe Safaris method of cash payment by bank, and (Cheques will only be accepted from Ugandan individuals or companies), cash rentals will require full deposits and other forms of security like passport and any other that may be agreed upon prior to rental.

General Terms

In the event of theft or accident the hirer must obtain a police report. Failure to comply would result in the hirer being responsible for all damages, towing, loss of revenue in an event of an accident. The hirer and or authorized driver must have valid driver's licenses for a minimum of up to 4 years

Driver's License

The hirer should possess the license at the time of hire and must bear no current endorsement during the last two years. A driving license from the country of residence or any international driver permit is generally acceptable provided valid as above. Where regulations require local permit, our office will give immediate assistance.

Age of Hire

The hirer or authorized driver must be over 23 years of age and below 70 years of age.

Identification

The hirer or authorized driver must be in possession of proper means of identification other than a driving license.

Please ensure JKihembe Safaris vehicles are parked in secure place and are always locked. JKihembe Safaris standard rental terms & conditions will apply. Types of cars, rates or condtions are subject to change without notice. The terms and conditions can only be used as general guidelines and may be different than what is printed on the rental agreements.
